Having a loving relationship with God can be instrumental in helping you to recover after losing your loved one. Speaking to God is one way to keep that positive communication going. It really doesn’t matter the way in which you pray. Just make sure to talk to God as often as you feel guided to do so, in whatever manner that resonates with you.
Here is a sample prayer that you may wish to use to help you release anything that is blocking you from moving on again in your life. Please feel free to add whatever you want or subtract anything that doesn’t resonate with you.
God, thank you for all you have given me, especially for placing (deceased loved one’s name) in my life. Although (name) is no longer here physically, I know (he or she) is with you and is very much at peace. Allow me to feel your presence and (his or her) presence as well. Thank you so much for watching over (name) and for guiding and protecting me too. Thank you for helping me to release everything that is preventing me from healing and being happy again. Grant that I may move on peacefully in my life with the wonderful knowledge that (he or she) truly is okay. I am so grateful that you are always there to assist me. I love you so much. Amen.
Your deceased loved ones truly are in a state of bliss and want you to feel peaceful again too. When you are grieving, your energy is not on par with that of the celestial realm, and you may not be able to feel God, the angels, and your precious deceased loved ones.
So please remember to pray during your grieving process, asking God to intervene on your behalf to help you feel better again. You will reunite with your loved ones many years from now, when you make your transition, but for now it’s important for you to live your life to the fullest. You’ll be able to do all that so much easier when you have God by your side, helping you every step of the way.
Many blessings to you!
