Instruments of Peace: Compassion for All Animals
Monday, July 7, 10am–12n, $20
In this first class, we will lay the foundation by exploring the core idea of extending peace and compassion to animals. We'll discuss how the message of the Prayer of St. Francis can guide us toward a more loving and inclusive relationship with animals. Participants will reflect on how we currently view and treat animals in our daily lives and how small, conscious changes can foster a deeper sense of empathy. This class will invite you to open your heart to the idea that all creatures are deserving of respect and love, and we will begin to explore ways to put this compassion into action. Together, we will discover how living with intention and mindfulness can bring peace to our world and honor the lives of all beings.

We’ll listen to, watch videos, and explore peace songs that have lifted spirits and brought people together during some of the most challenging times in history. If you’ve been feeling helpless or overwhelmed by what’s happening in the world, this is a space where we can reconnect with the belief that we all have the power to make a difference.
We’ll talk about simple but powerful ways we can each contribute to peace—whether that’s through small acts of kindness, standing up for what’s right, or just being more mindful of the energy we put out into the world. The goal is to raise our own vibration so we can better align with the peaceful, loving energy of the angels, creating a ripple effect of positivity wherever we go. It’s a reminder that even in tough times, we’re never powerless. Together, we can make a real impact.
