5 Steps to a Peaceful New Year

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! Here are five easy steps that you can take to make this New Year the best one ever!

  1. Focus on your many blessings. Instead of seeing all that is wrong in your life, devote plenty of time noticing everything that is going right. The moment you wake up in the morning and just before falling asleep at night, dedicate at least fifteen minutes dwelling on all the wonderful things that you do have.

  2. Surround yourself with those who uplift you. Make sure to spend a lot of time with family members, friends, acquaintances, and pets or other animals who make you feel good. Whether this is in person, on the phone, via email, text, or even on social media, it really doesn’t matter. Always choose to be with those who are peaceful and positive.

  3. Extend your love to others. Make sure to see through the eyes of others and be compassionate to everyone in your path. A simple act of kindness will begin the ripple effect of love to all those around you!

  4. Practice self-love. Remember, you are just as significant as everyone else, so it’s important to focus on loving yourself as well! Set new goals and make it a priority to spend time every day doing things that will make you happy.

  5. Ask God how you may serve yourself and others. When you set the intention of helping yourself and others, God and the angels will gladly show you what steps to take to achieve that goal. Then, all you need to do is to heed their advice! You will see - the right people will cross your path; many synchronistic events will occur around you; and so much more!
