Loving Yourself Creates a Ripple Effect of More Love (Excerpt from We Consciousness: 33 Profound Tru

Your thoughts create your reality, whether you are aware of it or not. Concept 21 of the We Consciousness states: How you feel about whatever you are observing creates circumstances in your life that will generate similar types of feelings within you. Therefore, in order to maintain inner peace, you must make a conscious effort to focus on the positive, and disconnect from whatever is creating bad inner feelings. This includes the emotions and thoughts you have about yourself.

If you have negative inner thoughts about yourself, you’ll attract pessimistic people and negative circumstances in your life. On the other hand, when your thoughts are focused on self-love, you’ll attract loving situations and those who will treat you in a tender, caring way. This love will create a ripple effect that extends outward to others as well. As Concept 19 of the We Consciousness states: You make the world a better place by choosing to be an example of inner peace. Practicing self-love guarantees a favorable outcome for everyone involved.

So begin loving yourself right now, and you’ll create a more peaceful place for yourself and for all those around you. Remember, you are not being selfish by practicing self-care.

Start the journey of creating peace on Earth by beginning with the most important person in your life—you! Love everything about yourself, with no judgment. Love the part of yourself that created every single person and situation in your life. (Yes, in reality, each person in your world is you, and every situation surrounding you was created by you!)

If you really want to become an instrument of peace, you first need to maintain a high regard for your own well-being and happiness. Start the process by contemplating what you’d like to hear from others. Do you want them to say that they love you, they appreciate you, you made a difference in their lives, or they forgive you? You will quickly see that whatever you most desire to hear from others is what you need to tell yourself!

Look in the mirror and tell yourself how great you are. Appreciate yourself for who you are and the difference you are making in the world. Forgive yourself for anything you have done in the past, acknowledging that you did the best you could under the circumstances.

Just be patient and I promise you, it will all be worth it. Now repeat after me: “I love you, [your name]. I really love you!”
