Divine Source of Love,
As we step into this new year,
we ask for hearts to soften and eyes to open.
Help us see through one another’s eyes
and recognize the shared humanity in us all.
Where kindness has been forgotten,
may awareness, compassion, and healing gently return.
May this be a year when patience replaces judgment
and understanding grows where division once stood.
Remind us that no one is less worthy because of
their religion, the color of their skin, who they love, where they come from,
or the country they call home.
Help us honor the dignity and light within every soul.
Teach us, in this new year,to pause before we judge,
to listen before we label,
and to choose kindness—again and again.
May our words be gentle,
our actions thoughtful,
and our intentions rooted in love.
Help us remember that we belong to one human family,
connected far beyond borders, beliefs, and differences.
May this year be a turning point—
a kinder year, a more compassionate year,
a year where empathy leads the way.
May our kindness ripple outward,
touching hearts we may never meet,
quietly transforming our world
one loving choice at a time.
Amen.
