A Prayer for a World Guided by Love

Dear God,

We come to You with open hearts,

asking for more love—

for our nation and for our world.

Please touch the hearts of our leaders.

Help them slow down, reflect, and remember what truly matters.

Where there is ego, bring humility.

Where there is division, bring compassion.

If they have lost their way in the pursuit of power,

guide them back to truth.

Help them feel the impact of their choices.

May every decision they make be guided by care

and respect for all life.

And guide us, too.

Help us recognize the role we each play.

Give us clarity to see what is rooted in love

and what is not.

Give us the courage to choose compassion, integrity,

and care for all.

Soften our hearts toward one another.

Across all cultures, all colors, all identities, and all beliefs,

remind us that we are one human family.

May love reach every person—

every orientation, every path.

May we extend that love to all animals,

treating them with kindness and respect.

Help us care for this Earth with gratitude

and protect it as the home we all share.

Let our words be kind.

Let our actions reflect compassion.

Let love guide how we show up each day.

And when we lose our way,

gently bring us back

to who we truly are—

Love.

May that love grow

and ripple outward,

touching every heart, every home, every corner of this world.

And so it is.
