Anyone can receive messages from angels and deceased loved ones. If you want to begin opening yourself up to these communications, I recommend starting with meditation to help open up your third eye. If you are not familiar with meditation, you may want to listen to a guided meditation tape. Or may wish to put on soothing music in the background – and then sit, relax, and clear your mind. During your quiet time, you may receive messages from your higher self, deceased loved ones, and the angels. However, the purpose of meditation is to quiet your mind and to prepare yourself spiritually so that you can receive messages at alater time.
After you finish your meditation, and while you’re still in a relaxed state, you may wish to pose a question with a yes or no answer. You’ll likely receive the answer to your question sometime during that day, or week, in one form or another.
If you meditate regularly, you should begin to receive messages from the angels and deceased loved ones. They may come at you in a number of ways. If you’re a visual person, pictures might pop into your mind’s eye – that’s clairvoyance. Or, you may hear messages – that’s clairaudience. You may also feel heat, cold, or sense an energy around you – that’s clairsentience. Or you may just have a gut feeling that they are there – that is claircognizance. However your messages come, acknowledge them, even if they don’t make sense to you at first.
When you begin connecting with the celestial realm, I recommend doing readings on others. This will help you to understand what is a true message and what is not. One time I was doing a reading for a woman, and I kept seeing an image of a walrus. I hesitated to mention it, thinking it couldn’t possibly make any sense, but when I did, the woman replied that her deceased husband was short, fat, bald, and had webbed feet. We both had a good laugh with that one!
Sometimes, an image or a word will come through, but you may have to use your frame of reference to understand what it means. Communicating with angels and loved-ones is a 2-spirit process, and sometimes their messages may get filtered through your perceptions. I was giving a reading to a young woman years ago, and I kept seeing the old TV show Bonanza. She was far too young to even remember that show, and it didn’t mean anything to her. So I had to ask myself: What does Bonanza mean to me? Not much. In fact, the only character I remembered in that show was Hass. “Hass”, it turned out, was the name of the man who had put her boyfriend in jail. So when giving a reading, you make sure to be a little brave and say even the messages that you think don’t make any sense.
The angels and your deceased loved ones really are around you and want you to know that. When you are able to receive messages from them, they will be as relieved as you are! Good luck with it all, and don’t try too hard. Just allow it to happen.
