In order to live the most peaceful and fulfilling life possible, you must be able to perceive the world as God does. Here are 10 simple steps you can take to see through the eyes of the Supreme Creator that resides within you.
Embrace your power. God is not an outside force that is beyond your reach. Please realize that God is within you, and because of this, you are able to create amazing miracles in your life!
See everyone through loving eyes. Perceive the best in everyone and focus on the Divine within them. This will create the ripple effect of even more love and light in their world and in yours as well.
Treat yourself with the respect that you deserve. You are just as important as everyone else and are a Divine being of light. You won’t be able to serve others if you don’t take care of yourself first.
See the bigger picture. Attempt to see the bigger perspective of why certain things happen. While it certainly will not always be easy to do, it will truly be worth your effort. Try to surrender, and understand that everything is happening in perfect Divine order.
Focus on the light. The energy of whatever you focus upon increases, so it makes sense to focus upon your many blessings and the love all around you, instead of what is wrong and what you do not wish to include in your life.
Forgive. See through the eyes of others and try to understand why they did what they did. Holding onto resentment hurts you. As Saint Francis of Assisi once said, “It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.”
Treat all living creature as the Divine beings that they are. All of life is sacred. This not only includes human beings, but all non-human animals as well. Seeing through God’s eyes means loving and protecting all sentient beings, especially those who are defenseless and have no voice.
Protect the environment. Set the intention of loving and protecting our beautiful planet. Then do your part to preserve and speak up for this magnificent world in which we all live.
Become an instrument of peace. Do all you can to maintain inner and outer harmony. Extend love and positivity to all those in your path.
Ask God how you may serve. Every single day, inquire how you may be of service to the universe. Then pay attention to your feelings and the signs around you. You will be divinely guided as to what actions to take next.
Now, in order to be able to see through God’s eyes and fully be able to take all the steps I’ve mentioned above, you’ll need to quiet your thoughts daily. If your thoughts are going a mile a minute, you won’t be able to pick up on the amazing wisdom of the Divine. So make sure to take the time to go within to reclaim your power. You’ll then be able to create eternal peace in your life and in all the lives around you as well!
