You are not alone. We all have guardian angels who stay with us from the moment we are born and remain with us for our entire lives. We can also call upon the any one of the Archangels, such as Archangel Michael, Archangel Gabriel, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Uriel, and so many more, who can be with more than one person at a time.
They often give us signs to let us know they are around. Some of these signs include placing feathers or pennies in our paths, showing us repeating numbers such as 1111, 2222, 3333, and so on, playing significant songs with the perfect words that we need to hear, flashing the lights at important moments, and creating certain scents in our paths.
I’ve always loved the angels and have been connecting with them for many years. I have countless stories I’d love to share, but one of my favorites is when my youngest son, Tim, was about three years old.
When Tim and I were getting out of my car which was parked by a supermarket, we spotted a shopping cart rolling down the hill, ready to make its way onto a busy street. Without a doubt, this could have caused an accident, so I quickly prayed out loud, “God and the angels, please stop that car, now!” Immediately the cart just stopped, right on the incline! There had been no one near the cart when this had happened. When I turned to see Tim’s reaction, and glanced back at the cart, a man came out of nowhere and moved the cart onto a speed bump. Again, I turned to see Tim’s reaction, and when I quickly glanced back at the cart, the man was gone!
Excited, I exclaimed, “Wow! Tim, that was awesome! Did you see that?”
He just looked at me, and because he was so used to me talking about angels and miracles, he said, “Yes, Mom, it was an angel,” as if it was an everyday occurrence. And he was right – it was!
The angels are ready to assist us, but most of the time, they must wait for us to call upon them. Often, they come to us simply as a thought, a feeling, a knowingness, or a vision. At first, we may feel that we are only imagining the messages we are receiving.
Unfortunately, many times we unknowingly cut off communication with the angels because we fear what we might see, feel, or hear. Because of this, the angels will not come to us because they want to bring us comfort, not fear, so they will wait until we are ready for them.
At other times, we may feel unworthy and therefore do not call upon them for their help. I assure you that we are all worthy of their assistance. It doesn’t matter who we are or what we’ve done; the angels are there for us. They are not here to judge us, but simply to guide and protect us at all times.
You have everything to gain, and nothing to lose if you call upon the angels. Make sure to pay attention to thoughts that just pop in your head and your inner guidance as to what to do next. This is their way of speaking directly to you. When you pay attention to the messages and signs they send you, they will know that they are being heard and will continue to give you the love, protection, and support that you so desire.
