A Prayer for Sacred Vision

Divine Presence,

Source of all life and light,

Help us to see the world through Your eyes—

Eyes that do not divide, judge, or label,

But only love.

May we look into the face of every human being—

Of every nationality, every race, every gender and orientation,

Rich or poor, known or unknown—

And see not “other,” but a sacred reflection of ourselves.

Teach us to honor each soul

As a unique expression of You.

Help us release the illusions of separation,

And remember that we are One.

Let us feel the joys and sorrows

Of those who have been silenced, rejected, or overlooked.

Let us walk with humility and compassion,Remembering that no life is more worthy than another.

Help us see the animals—gentle and wild,

Feathered, furred, or scaled—

As kindred spirits on this Earth.

May we protect them, love them,

And stand up for them, as we would for a beloved friend.

And may we remember, too,

To see ourselves through Your divine eyes—

Worthy, radiant, and whole.

In seeing all through the lens of love,

May we become instruments of healing.

And in healing, may we help create

A world that finally reflects Your unconditional grace.

And so it is.
