Self-Love Begins with a Better Awareness of the We Consciousness

As perfectly stated by Wayne Dyer when he was still here in the physical, “Somewhere along the line, we have created the illusion that we are separate from God and others. We have created the illusion that we are what we have or what we do. We have created the illusion that we need to be better than others. We have also created the illusion that because we are separate from our Source, we do not have the power of the Source.” This incorrect way of thinking has prevented us from experiencing the total love and peace that we truly are. When we’re able to remember that we really are one with God, we’ll understand that we are able to create anything of a peaceful nature in our lives!

However, we must first raise our vibration to be more on par with the energy of the Divine. We can also remind ourselves of our connection to the whole by repeating affirmations throughout the day. Affirmations are positive statements told from the first-person point of view affirming that all is well in your world. Louise Hay, motivational author and founder of Hay House, created many affirmations that I find wonderfully helpful. I’ve included several below. Try saying them to yourself throughout your day, and make up others to affirm what you want to see more of in your life.

• I am connected to all of life.

• Each person is part of the harmonious whole.

• I help create a world where it is safe for all of us to love each other.

• What is true of me is true of everyone. We are all learning to look within ourselves to find the wisdom to live harmoniously.
